CHINA Fleet professional Dominic Rehaag had a tournament to remember when he took part in the latest Cornwall Professional Golfers' Alliance event at Newquay.

A total of 70 members entered the competition, and after half an hour's delay due to frost, they got to play in breezy and cold conditions.
The course was in a good condition despite the recent weather and those who entered produced some superb golf.

Carthew and Goodman amassed 42 points, Rehaag and Alford 41, and third-placed Jason Gay and Ken Robinson from Carlyon Bay also 41.
Rehaag and Alford pipped Gay and Robinson on countback.
Rehaag made up for the disappointment of finishing second by claiming wholesale colthing first place in the team professionals' event.
The China Fleet pro totalled 41 points to defeat Trevose's Grant Slater by one point with fellow Trevose golfer Gary Lenaghan third on 39 points.
The next Alliance meeting is taking place at Perranporth next Wednesday, February 10.
